If you want to delete your data, you can use the contact form to do so. Please use the same email address that is associated with previous submissions. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.

General:

For the purposes of the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679, of April 27 (GDPR), the Organic Law 3/2018, of December 5, on Personal Data Protection and Guarantee of Digital Rights (LOPDGDD), and other current national regulations, UPV informs you that it fully complies with the applicable data protection legislation and the confidentiality commitments inherent to its activities.

UPV informs you of the existence of an information processing system owned by UPV, intended for management, communication, and informational purposes. This system is described in the corresponding Record of Processing Activities, which the user can access to check the status of their data.

Exercise of rights:

To exercise your rights of access, opposition, rectification, cancellation or deletion, withdrawal of consent, restriction of data processing, and portability, you must contact UPV in writing at dpd@upv.es, Spain. You may also file a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD).

Data retention period:

Your data will be kept for the minimum time necessary to perform technology transfer actions at the Institute.

Purpose of data processing:

At VRAIN, we process the information you provide to respond to individuals who register through the application form and/or manage their application.

Recipients:

VRAIN-UPV will not share your data with any third parties unless explicitly informed.

Rights when providing your data:

The data protection rights that data subjects hold are:

  • Right to rectification or deletion
  • Right to object
  • Right to request the limitation of processing
  • Right to data portability

Data subjects can exercise their personal data protection rights by sending a written communication to the registered address of Universitat Politècnica de València or to the designated email address, including a photocopy of their ID card or other equivalent identification document.

Withdrawing consent:

You have the option and the right to withdraw your consent for any specific purpose previously granted, without affecting the lawfulness of processing based on consent before its withdrawal.

Sending curriculum vitae:

In the event that the user sends their CV through our website or social media, we inform you that the provided data will be processed to involve you in the selection processes that may exist at the institution, carrying out a profile analysis of the applicant to select the best candidate for the vacant position.

The data will be kept for a maximum period of 2 years, after which the data will be erased, ensuring complete confidentiality in both the processing and subsequent destruction. In this regard, after the mentioned period, if you wish to continue participating in the selection processes, please resend your CV.

In case of any changes to your data, please inform us in writing as soon as possible to keep your data updated.

The data may be processed and/or communicated to companies within our group during the retention period of your CV and for the same purposes as previously informed.
